Net peptide content (NPC) is the fraction of the vial's mass that is actually peptide rather than counterion salt or moisture. A "10 mg" vial at 70% NPC holds 7 mg of peptide, so its real cost per milligram is higher than the label math suggests. Leave NPC blank to compare on label mass alone; fill it in only from a COA that states it.
A rough reference, not a rule
Across the research-peptide market, single compounds are commonly quoted somewhere in the region of a few dollars to roughly ten dollars per milligram, varying widely by compound, vial size, and how much independent testing sits behind the number. Treat that only as a sanity check: a price far below the pack usually means a larger vial, a lower purity, or no verifiable COA, not a free lunch.
Static reference tables
These are generic reference figures for comparing vials against each other, not quoted prices from any vendor. Nobody is selling at these numbers; they are round inputs run through price ÷ size so you can see the shape of the arithmetic without typing anything. Real listings sit wherever they sit, and only a lot-matched COA tells you the milligrams are real.

Read the columns, not the sticker. Every cell above is label mass only. If a COA reports net peptide content below 100%, divide the size by that fraction first and the cost per milligram of actual peptide rises accordingly. None of this speaks to aliquots, draw volumes, or use of any kind; it is purchase arithmetic for research materials.
The math, in one line
cost per mg = vial price ($) ÷ vial size (mg). That is the honest way to line up vials priced at different sizes. When a lot's COA reports net peptide content, the truer figure is cost per mg active = price ($) ÷ (size (mg) × NPC%), because you are paying for the peptide, not the salt it ships as.
Worked example: a $45 vial of 10 mg is $4.50 per mg; an $80 vial of 20 mg is $4.00 per mg. The bigger vial wins on value despite the higher sticker price, which is exactly the comparison the sticker price hides.
The comparison is only as honest as the two inputs behind it. A rock-bottom cost per milligram means nothing if the milligrams are not really there or the purity is unverified, which is why the vials worth comparing are the ones whose mass and purity you can check on an independent third-party COA before you pay.
